Best Shoes For Guerrilla Grow

Recommended Posts

After watching Barry Cooper's how not to get busted I can tell one of his tips is to put Duct tape over the bottom of your shoes to avoid leaving a track.

I hope no-one who is going to grow in rough Aussie bushland is stupid enough to ever take that advice????  Loose, uneven, rocky, muddy etc, you need a boot with a tough sole and a good tread.  I've gone down in the bush (insert snide giggle) more than once due to boots with 3/4 worn tread, I don't even want to think about duct tape on my soles.  If you are in a guerilla grow situation, chances are you are in remote and rough terrain, and alone.  A serious injury in this situation is a major problem, and potentially life threatening, so probably not the most sensible advice to be giving out BigBoy.  Barry Cooper might give out some relevant advice, but it should not be blindly followed, remember he loves making noise and getting attention.  And the topic is best shoes, not bush stealth, which would not be a bad thread to start up.

Sir,

Im coming down a slope thats wet with dew just as the sun is just rising. A mixture of rock, lantana and scrub all slippery as hell. I take 3 breaks coming in and 6 coming up after a days work. These boots have saved my ankles from breaks 3 times I swear.

Duct tape? Great idea from an ex pig with a love of media and an ability to cry on cue. Id have slipped and cracked my head or broken a leg or worse.
