Main Lining

So all the cool kids are doing it and it piqued my interest so on my current grow, which is in the last weeks, i tried this technique on two plants.

 

Has anyone else used this method?

Old term used by heroin addicts. Means shooting up the smack. But here I think it is different!

Its just another technique or super topping. Idea is you get rid of the unwanted small buds sites or pop corn buds and create a nice even canopy so you get 8/16 or 32 consistent weighted colas.

Yep. I have a limited grow space and cant really set up a full scrog set up grow..so this has worked wonders.

 

The only real downside is an extra 2 weeks max veg. But i dont mind that im in no rush.

hey MrTrimbloe. thanks for this thread and the link. looks like a good technique! I'm in the same boat, limited space so ill be giving this a go on me next batch!

No worries. I am really happy with the results so far and thought I would share, will be interesting how much I yield.  I usually just super crop or lst but with this method I noticed perfectly uniformed colas in width and length due to the symmetrical way you train it.

 

Also with this method you can move the girls around in a hurry or if you want to give them some fresh outside air or some sun, which i normally do.

I have used this technique before with good results, it's really just a combo of topping and lst been around for yonks just recently have I seen ppl call it mainlining.

 

 

35L pot, perlite, hand watered. Strain is Lush, yield 8oz+.

That's about the size of it Frankie....

I have read about mainlining, think I might have mentioned it once or twice before elsewhere or in chat.

In my first grow I found that I had accidentally mainlined a plant, my Bella, and the colas on here were so nice and uniform.
