Hyrdrogen peroxide , is it some thing i have to buy from a hydroponics shop ? or does it have another name as in a supermarket item or Nursery store item ?

 

My local Hydro shop is a blatant rip off(i refuse to go there) , so i have to travel 250 klms

oxygenating the roots ,more so i want to use it for cleaning the tub as well .

why not use an airstone & airpump to oxygenate? Why not clean the tub with hot water & elbowgrease?

Why add more chemicals to a system? Can I safely add hydro peroxide to my recirc reservoir with no effect to the nutrients?

Sorry to ask all this I just have never heard of this used.

i have 2 x air pumps and 2 x air stones already , but i feel the pumps arent up to scratch air volume wise and need to replace them

EDIT: Supermarket / chemist brands are about 3% w/w whereas I think the H202 hydro store version may be a higher concentration.
