What have I grown here?

Afternoon all,

 

I am about to harvest my last bagseed outdoor grown. I trimmed a bit of, tidied it up and it looks like this. Its doesnt look quite like other plants that I have grown.

 

They look like big calyx's,(apologies for spelling) or seed pods, but there are no seeds in them, in fact there is nothing at all.

 

The rest of the plant looks like this. Any thoughts??

I guess what I'm asking, is it male, with no seeds?? Or just a different looking female??

I've got one looking the same right now and wondered what the hell was going on. Wondering if its because it is such a late blooming plant and so was too cold or not enough light? It started flowering about the same time as my first was harvested - all outside.
