Hydroponics Lab Explosion.

Last night, I got to catch a glimpse of the news in the smoko room before knock off.

The breaking news was on a hydroponic lab, yes, thats how the news and authorities described it, explosion, which pretty much destroyed a house in Ferntree Gully, Melbourne.

They showed some of the remnants of the explosion/fire, and lo and behold, what is stacked against a wall, but butane cylinders.

Over in the states, where it is legal in some states, they have seen a rise in house fires and explosions as a result of poor BHO extraction processes, ie, INDOOR operations.

We start doing similar shit over here, while it is still very much illegal, we will never see cannabis decriminalised or legalised for medicinal or recreational purposes.

Im taking a break from growing, doesnt mean ive stopped reading and researching cannabis, and look forward to the near future, and furthuring my knowledge in a more practical way, without putting myself or others in danger.

Just wanted to say, if your giving BHO a go, dont skimp on the safety measures........

Hey Burner,

                   There was something similar that occurred approx. 20 km from me a few years ago (I actually think I posted the article here somewhere(or maybe I was just stoned could have been possible )). Not with BHO but iso oil. The news reported it as a clandestine lab explosion. The 'Lab' was some dickheads kitchen. The reason for the explosion was due to him cooking up iso oil, on a gas stove, with no ventilation. When the evaporated iso ignited from the gas flame, every window in the house exploded out. DICKHEAD.

Colorado (where weed is legal) recently took mesures to end this kind of thing.
