Help, First timer - Unsure what sex - Purple leaves

Recommended Posts

Well I germed on them on the 28/02 so they have basically gone straight into flower because of the daylight hours I beleive? so just over 2 months they have been growing id say

Ive been applying thrive and seawood juice, but im going to stop that, give them a flush if there is any nute burn then give a mild doose of some sort of bloomer that will help the flowers, any recomendations on what to use?

No I have never sprayed the leaves with anything, what is a citrus minor trail? Im going to have a close look at the leaves for little bugs like you suggested, if i do find some, should i just take them of as i see them? or go and get some type of spray?

thanks for all the help, this is my first grow so im constantly worrying haha

There wouldn't be too many sprays for pests I would use on buds, if any. You are going to ingest the bud in some form into your body. The colour is seasonal, they look healthy enough on the whole. If they were keeling over, I would worry.

If you are happy to use Thrive, then go to a Thrive Bloom formula.

The nute burn was minor and early, can't see it in later growth.

Citrus Leaf Miner is a pest, google is my friend.

Don't worry too much, Canna is one of the toughest plants I have ever grown. Unless you have a or some major component(s) wrong, everything should be ok in a grow.

plant number one looks like dr grinspoon.

as for the spots on leaves...I haven't seen an outdoor plant without small blemishes like that on a few leaves,

it looks like they could benefit from a bit more sun as its getting cold and things are slowing right down.

good effort for a first grow! less is moe with fertilizer. quality soil, water and sun is all ya really need outside.

good luck with your next crack
