Textbook banana

61 days into flower, the strain is an Nyc Diesel (Soma) but I must of got a weird pheno because the flowers are essentially empty seed pods though the plant is female as there are pistils everywhere.

 

I took an early smoke sample and it doesn't do much to me, maybe a couple more weeks would improve the potency but I doubt it, I wanted to take her to 10 to 11 weeks but I'm worried.

 

I should probably pull it now eh?

Im not sure what you mean, all flowers are essentially empty seed pods? aside from the obvious banana in there it looks fine, do you mean the buds didnt cluster up and you just ended up with thin strands of pods? if you have one or 2 of those bananas it isnt worth worrying about just pick it off and be on your way

Giving it a couple extra weeks would seed up the crop with millions of immature seeds ruining the taste of the buds but the high would be substantially better.  You're kinda screwed either way but personally I'd give it the extra time to mature.

It's honestly probably already too late to avoid seeds entirely but the sooner it gets the chop the less you'll make

You're only 9 days off 10 wks as it is, unless there are a shed load of bananas I can't see there being a pollination problem.

I too agree with Lou

I have previously had a few nanas late in the grow and like you I was shitting bricks. Seems mine were all sterile as I got no seed and all was sweet.

I have had nanas and seed but the nanas were a lot earlier than 9 weeks, I probably noticed them around 4-5wks and it was too late to act. This was due to stressing the plant out (I had a shitty timer that altered its timing, then died) NOTE: Don't use shitty timers
