Plant ID - Hermaphrodite? please help

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Having a slight issue I need to resolve asap. Out of two plants 1 looks to be female the other I thought was female, but now I'm starting to think it was male. Over the last few days I have noticed seed looking sacs or similiar coming through. I did think the plants were female originally. But its my first time so really unsure whats going on!

The first two pics is the plant that looks like it is seeding. As I said I thought they were originally female but now I'm unsure. Just wondering what to do with it?

The other two pics show one that I believe to be female and there are no signs of seeds.

Yeah mate, looks like it maybe a hermie in the first pics...... cut open one of the fattest 'seed sacks' on it and if you can see a seed inside, or a young seed forming , it's time to piss it off, or if you see any small yellow flowers on it. The longer you leave it , the more chance it will pollenate your good plant.

Looks very stringy too, where the other plants have nice tight colas.

Inspect it well first, before making a choice, because you can't go back.

Nibbler.

yeah opened one there are definately seeds! Do you think these were once female plants? Is it worth keeping seeds or should I just rip the plant and be done with it?

Second pic, upper right corner... the calyxes are already splitting, definitely got some seed there. Mind you, I'd love to see a pic of the whole plant... if that isn't revegetation, it's surely very interesting bud structure.

Are these a commercial seed strain?

Nah not commercial.

Plants may not look as good as they should they got stressed a bit over summer, they got neglected for a couple of days and the heat hit them really hard so I think it stunted their growth.

These are 2 plants that have seeded in full pic. I thought they were going well until I have seen seeds and there growth has come to a stop over the last few weeks.

Are both plants the same strain? Or out of the same batch of seeds? Bagseed? It is definitely very interesting.

Yeah all plants exactly the same seeds. 2 of them got stressed I think from the sun/heat and the other one (female that is going well) didn't.

So either way should I just rip the plants with the seed?
