Swapping Lights?

Hi fellow enthusiasts,

 

Looking to get some advice.....

 

I'm currently running 3 600w hps....

 

Would it be worth swapping them out and running 4 400w cmh.....????

 

Let me know what u think.... Thanks

 

basically no its probably not worth swapping them out when you consider that your going to have to buy 4 new ballasts and 4 new lamps, yield would probably be slightly less too. i honestly believe quality would be bettter but its a fair bit of expense especially if what they say is true and the 400w cmh lamp is no longer in production they are only selling off the ones they have already made and thats it. the new LEC's are replacing them
