How much to water?

Recommended Posts

Pegz, yeah I have an electric PH meter and im making the solution with everything mixed in it a 5.8 as recommended for auto plants, Ill try and get some pics with the HPS of tomorrow. I don't know what the ec is atm as I ordered a ec pen but still hasn't arrived but im only doing half strength nutes and the plants seem to be fine no yellowing or anything.

Pegz what I think Goat is trying to say is because autos have such a short life they need as much light and as much food as they can get from day one! Maybe Goat was referring to that and im sure even he thinks 600w HPS would be overkill for seedlings but trying to get the point across that Autos need lots of light asap to be able to produce what they can by the time they die, im sure it is different for photos and autos and the way they are grown and what requirements they need are different?? Am I on track Goat?

Yeah pretty much BB.... :)

And Pegz, dont wanna seem rude, but you seem to gloss over most posts and then post argumentative responses which are not entirely relevant...

It makes no sense to start 3 seedlings under a 600W light, it doesn't matter what strain or type they are.

All you need is a household CFL for the first 1 to 2 weeks:

These are clones, with seedlings you'll want to keep the light closer, a couple of inches is fine. I think you'll find that starting them in way will not be any slower than starting them under a massive light that's placed way above them.
