Medical marijuana grow-at-home injunction granted

A Federal Court judge in Vancouver has granted a last-minute reprieve for medical marijuana users who say they need to be able to grow their own pot at home.

This story made me realize that there is a style of lawmaking. Usually laws are supposed to prevent those from harming others. However these particular kinds of laws are put in place so that people don't do things that have a potential danger to no-one but themselves.

 

These dangers should be enough to deter people, if not it's there choice. This law attempts to accomplish what a warning label on a gas stove does. Gas stoves aren't illegal but you have to be responsible enough not to blow your place up (an adult in short).
