I'm pretty sure. Why, doesn't look rockmelony? I'm second guessing myself now hahahaha

Looks more butternut pumpkiny than rockmelony to me, but it is a while since I grew any melons (GI is to high)...  I seem to recall the fruit buds being more spherical and the flowers being smaller with more distinct petals.

 

I suppose time will tell.

Nah, you're not a dumbass, if it germinated by itself it's often a mystery until some of the fruit ripens. I spent a long, hot summer tending a watermelon vine that turned out to be a bloody paddymelon plant.

Just went for a smell in the garden

Lemon Skunk was smelling delish.... Then it started raining and the smell was mouthwatering!
