Deep Water Culture (DWC) comparison pics

Just thought I'd make a thread for the DWC growers to post some comparison pics showing the quick growth rate of DWC. I also thought it would be good for the non DWC growers to see just how quick plants veg in DWC.

These are Lush x Blueberry seedlings that I put into the DWC tub 7 days ago. The roots were just beginning to come out of the rockwool cubes.

 

 

7 days later they look like this with nice thick stems and the beginning of some nice branching.

I know a guy in the states that does the same thing but with 100litre recycle plastic bins and does 8 - 10 plants in each and does very well with it

These will just stay in the tub until sexed then get moved probably to 20L buckets with a few in each bucket.

Dayum thats awesome ! My second grow will deffinatly be a DWC but in 40L buckets cause that's what i got

Good strong growth, and the fastest way to grow in DWC, I would be about 4days-1week behind you in coco on those times, Nice work.

They have been in the flower room for 13 days and now look like this, some beginning to show preflowers.

I have been untangling the roots every few days, they seem to cope with it pretty well as I'm sure I do some damage while doing it. I'll have to take a pic tonight when I do it to show the length of the roots.

 

Some individuals have less roots though I'm not sure if that's environment or phenotype, as with some individuals being much shorter I'm not sure if that's to do with being crowded out/root damaged or phenotype.
