Interesting Flowering Mazar at 4th week.

Recommended Posts

Ok so last year I grew a great mazar outdoor. (check out the previous grow! :D ) and we managed to find a seed throughout the plant! one very single one in the main cola. I've heard of plants doing this and they are always female and quite a few of you on the forum have seen this before even if there is no other male plant around.

So I decided to grow it out this year....

She is very fast and very vigorous growing, More "sativa" like however her mother was short , squat, tight nodes full of big buds!
I know she is off her for sure because of her structural branching, She is doing the typical "Christmas tree" which is typical from mazar, But however she's got some very skinny lookin sativa leaves on her!

must be a phenotype that popped up??!?!?

anyway... shes about 4th week into flowering now and her buds are very seperated from the other nodes, Infact I don't think they are going to join to the others to give one cola on every branch...

Check out the pics and tell me what you think...

I had to tie her down to the side as she was peeking her head over the neighbours fence, she is roughly 6 foot tall and I had to use a stake pole to support her main stem because is would seriously bend right over in the winds, the picture really doesn't do it justice shes a big girl.... but looks like it doesn't really matter now as it seems to be just Alot of stretch? It's not typical of mazar after growing this strain for a couple of years now and never come accross this phenotype before.

I was cheering right before she started to flower I knew I was in for a CRACKING harvest as this is 3 times bigger as last years which I got 8 ounces off in the same pot! but now im not so sure about her ways of flowering.. First I've come accross this before... They remind me of little golfballs everywhere, and there is hardly any smell whatsoever. (yet).

oh and dont be fooled by the fake pretty flowers, there for the neighbours to look at !! hehe

cheers! SMOKY!!

Every plant is different and even selfing a plant will result in seeds that are all a little different from one another.  She's looking very decent but keep an eye on her as she might throw a few bananas especially late in flower as she was likely self made.

thanks doc, what about the flowering and long internodes.... I dont think there going to join and form colas it seems?.... More like golfballs everywhere.... Trying to find a few pictures on the net of similar flowering plants... not much luck.... odd , weird.... Can't see any bananas at all (YET). Hope its going to be a killer smoke like last years

That's my doc#4 from my last grow.  It was my highest yielding plant by far but a stretchy bitch with golfball like nugs all over it.  Some plants just grow that way but it makes for good air flow around the buds and the upper buds will form colas so I think she'll still do great for you :)
