untaimedninja
Hi guys just wanting to get some feedback on my first grow and any tips I could pick up on judging by the look of it so far..... My plan is to grow myself one great plant to supply just myself and my Mrs (whom suffers terribly from Carpel Tunnel) we only like natural "Bush" smoke and am trying to keep it that way however where i live its already down to 7 Degrees some nights so im planning on growing it indoors under a light. so far...... started March 1st,seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours then onto a plate with a napkin under a mug in a warm part of the house.... day 5 put the best ones (24 of them) into a long pot of seedling growth soil with some perlite (about 65% soil to 35% perlite) and sprayed with growrite part a & b ( http://glandorehydro.com/Growrite-Grow-2-Part-a-b.html ) and they shot up really quick to the photos that i have taken today. I spray them twice a day, morn and arvo and tomorrow I will be putting them under my new light tomorrow (which i have never used and have no experience with). SpaceMonkey23
I'm still new to this too. Good luck with your grow, untaimedninja. Looks like you have a lot of seedlings there. You say 24 of them? That's quite a few. Do you realise how big these suckers can get? What size light do you have? I am only into small growing (250W HID), but I reckon you're going to need some serious light to cover 24 cannabis plants. Just be prepared for the fact that when you hit flowering they can stretch like motherfuckers. Mine gained about 4x in height last time and I ran out of vertical room! Love the use of perlite in your medium. I have found that aeration of the roots seems to be appreciated by the plants.

Minzone
You could keep 2 very successfully with 250w hid. No matter how many you choose to keep make sure to check the one your keeping is female
SpaceMonkey23
I'm just jealous that you seem to have enough seeds that you can plant 24 with the view of ripping up 23 in order to get the best of the bunch! Where the fuck did you get so many seeds that you can do that??

cap'n yNg
hey there Ninja.congrats on ya first grow, looks like ye be off to a good start! Are ya seeds fem or regular? and what strain? if fem then cull away the weaker ones, if not then you'd be best off keeping say 10 of the best performers and then put them under ya light on 12\12 oncr big enough to determine the sex and then cull the males. where wil you be hanging ya light? (tent, cupboard, room?)if you have a good sized space id keep a a few of ya best seedling!also, if you havnt already you'll proberly need some kind of extractor fan and a fan in ya grow space to move the air about. As Fudge said, have a good look about on here, read up and take down notes that will be relivant to your future plans! TiE and good luck yaaarrghhhhh! Cyclone
How much Bud, if all goes well do you plan on getting from this 'one great plant'? Your overall space and quantity of quality light will influence your planned ideal yield and it should be considered while they are young.
