Nah, not enough proof to promote cannabis... so what does get promoted to relieve these conditions?

 

NSAIDS which cause stomach bleeding, increase the risk of heart failure and can totally wreck your liver and kidneys if used in combination with alcohol or other commonly prescribed drugs.

 

COXIBS which increase the risk of circulatory failure by a factor of four (hailed as a replacement for the NSAIDS... but didn't they go off the market fast when the strokes and heart attacks began to multiply).

 

Narcotic analgesia... yeah no risks there lol

 

By the rationale of this article, all these risks are ok because we don't smoke the pills!
