is it too late to begin more outdoor cuttings?

Recommended Posts

hey,

I hope this is the best place to post my questions, hopefully someone could shed some light.

Basically I have unfortunatelly had to pull half of my outdoors as they have turned hermie, sad as these where some good looking plants 1meter plus tall even after LST...

I won't get as much of a yield as I would like from the females that I have remaining, so I'm trying to decide if it too late in the season to take more cuttings from my mothers (which are 2 weeks into flower) and gain a decent yield from them if they strike well (or will these branches yield more if left on the original plant to mature)??

FYI lights are not an option for reveg....Also I'm latitude 39, strains are predominantely skunky sativa and OJkush indicas.

Cheers all and look forward to your advice.

Your best bet is just leaving them as they are and looking after them well, taking cuttings now won't help any.

Naycha :peace:

Naycha, my auto's have produced a horrible yield and one of my females ( the good one ) has turned hermie, which leaves me with 2 plants which i will be lucky to yield 10 grams off of. I can do a 125cfl for new seeds but the problem is that there just isn't enough light to get the plants going after about week 2-3. You think it is deffs too late to try and grow some Photo period plants with 3 weeks under CFL then outdoors? Or you think I should just try to put some more autos under the CFL for 3 weeks then pop outside? My previous autos from my last grow (which were ripped GRR...) had about an ounce on each. Suggestions mate?

Hi Crunk I am hoping to do a winter grow of malawi clones I will veg them indoors for about 3 to 4 weeks then put them out. If they start flowering  with their usual stretch they should get to over a metre high. I will be planting them out end of March, likely harvest June/July. But it is in the North of the state so the sun shines well for 11hrs a day.

I think if vedged enough indoors under 18/6 it will work well, with sativas any way.
