Females Flowering Early

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Just checking my plot this morning, and it appears that the females are already flowering, showing rich white milky trichromes.

The thing is, it is only the 2nd week of February.

My question is, could this early flowing have been caused by the multiple heat waves experiences on the east coast of Australia?

Also, how long should I wait until ripping them out (first time grower).

u sure with this that they are not the white hairs called stigmas the only way u can tell colour of trichromes is by a micro scope or something and u pick on milky white or amber depending what stoned ur looking for

becuase my plants are budding and have white hairs everywhere but not ready to pick

Yep mine have done the same! Checked them today and they've definitely started flowering! Must be something to do with the messed up climate lately

It doesn't seem strange to me at all that plants are flowering now. Given that plants take (in general) at least 3 months to flower outdoors they won't be ready till mid May which seems pretty average to me.

Yeah but plants are signal to start flowering when there's 12 hours of daylight and where I am atm (SA) we've still been getting 13ish, that's why I was surprised
