0 Brash
Have you tried - practical tips for medical cannabis users If you e-mail them, I am sure they can send you specific information on MS and Cannabis, they are good guys and eager to help. I am aware that for some reason the MS Society (patient advocacy group) is not a supporter of medical cannabis despite evidence to the contrary coming from overseas. 0 nancerella
Hello,I'm Nancerella, I'm new to this site and just found your post on MS.I smoke MJ recreationally as well as medically. I have MS and suffer from spasticity and trigeminal neuralgia. Smoking relieves the stiffness in my legs. I can hardly walk when I first get up until I have the "wake & bake" bowl and then I'm off. The trigeminal pain is also reduced when I smoke. I live in Maine (USA)where med. marijuana has been legalized. I have my Drs. consent.Tell your friend to at least give it a try..MS is a hard one to deal with. Don't rule out anything that may help. If nothing else, it will keep her spirits HIGH. 0 F420
hmm I forgot about this thread ,She has since tried the MJ for the pain etc and finding it really good. She no longer has to take as much of the other meds that she is supposed to be taking. She says that even the next day she is still feeling effects from the weed, not stoned feelings just her pain is alot better. She used to give her self needsle called beeferon or something simialr. SO yup it worked well and she now has an oz of good buds which will last here ages. But she knows that I will give her buds anytime. Also when she asked her specailist she was given a weird answer. They said that they cant reccomend marijuana as it has no way of controlling the doses etc. But then turned around and said "oh but alot of people with MS are finding it helps, so you can try it if you like." So after a bit of using it she went back for something else and told them and me as I went with here. that the MJ almost always helps with MS but they are not allowed to tell anyone to use it How fucked is that, not telling people about something that can make their lives better quality. What I did to get her to try it was I showed her Alison Myrdens website and her online speaking diary thiong. THanks Ali !!! Brash- thanks for the link, thats an awesome site.Geezer- Thanks also but yea I was aware of that site, ive been a member there for years. they are a great bunch of people always willing to lend advice. and I have grown alot of their seeds. The last lot I got from them was Snow queen. but they have sent me heaps- WW, WR, M39, etc
