The measurements of this closet are 145cm (H) x 100cm (W) x 45cm deep.

 

I'm only looking at growing 1 or 2 plants, for personal use.

 

So, my questions/concerns with this closet are mainly to do with ventilation/airflow, and light.

 

I'm not looking at a full hydro setup as i'm trying to grow as cheap as possible. Therefore ideally i'd be looking at a 1 light setup (or similar? open to suggestion) and i'll water/feed manually as needed.

 

How will this closet go in terms of ventilation? What, if anything, will I need, and how do I achieve it whilst still keeping the doors closed? Cutting/drilling holes in the closet are not an option.

 

To keep the closet dark, both sliding doors have to be closed (obviously).
There's about a gap between the sliding doors of approx 2/3 of an inch. Not much light gets through, and I can keep the room the closet is in dark as well. I figure I can also potentially put a small overlap of mylar/foil/similar on the inside of the door to help cut out the light.

 

TL : DR - help me turn this closet into a cheap setup for a first time grower looking to grow 1 or 2 plants.

It would be perfect, except you need to cut vent holes somewhere or it wont work.
