How Woodley can see it as a government saving money is strange? It will free up over stretched police resources to tackle more serious crime, it will reduce the overcrowding in our criminal institutions. By allowing individual cannabis users to grow a limited number of plants for personal consumption eliminates the need to acquire MONEY to purchase cannabis. For those unable or unwilling to grow their own, the government will actually make MONEY by taxing sales of cannabis, seeds/clones/dried cannabis and extracts, not to mention the textile, health industry and the multitude of other sources of revenue the humble cannabis plant can offer to an enlightened government.

As for the health issues, the comment that it stupifies habitual users, increasing psychosis.Credit Cards have the same effect. Using a substance as an excuse for a flaw in an individuals personality, yeah, I said it, its the individual, not the substance, is lame.

Society, moreso Western Society, is so intent on naming the beast, it has lost its sense of dignity. How many times do we have to keep running around in circles chasing our tails before we finally see what is standing right in front of us?

If you play by the rules, the game is lost. Somebody else wrote the rules, who rules your life?

Most importantly though Stop looking to blame, and just start looking.

can I get some Barbiturates stats up in here!?

Nah, not current. The narrow "theraputic window" that made the first group of barbs so very toxic was their eventual downfall during the 1960's. Now the use is pretty limited, induction agents for anesthesia is the only thing that springs to mind... and as far as that goes 1 in 1000 general anesthethics result in health threatening complications.

The top cops and knobs like this always go on about cannabis destroying lives and familys .

I have seen lives destroyed 1st hand by booze , speed , heroin  but cannabis  . :unknw:

I would love to see some actually real life storys of how Joe blow started smoking pot which led to the destrucktion of his adult life . Not some guff made up to scare us all straight by cops or some Govenment figure dead against drugs.
