beginner needs some feedback (1st timer)

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the pics, yep everything looks ok... one thing I'd do is slap some white paint on the black pots, it will keep the roots much cooler come the real hot weather. A water based ceiling white adheres well to the plastic.

Oh, and that really big one in the black pot (sixth photo), I'd give her a hair cut... about a third off the top, or a bigger pot or into the ground (mind you, if you plant it in the ground it will get very big).

Happy growing, lou :D

gday lou, i was going to give her a hair cut tomorrow as ya suggested, when trimming her, am i just taking everything off as in the stem buds n leaves or just the leaves?

and just from the top of her you say? thanks heaps :twiddle: :sdj:

Sorry I missed this Alberry,

I meant cut to reduce the height, so yes to stems, buds, leaves... rather than just thinning leaves.

Granted... we are a couple of weeks on, so if you haven't done it yet whack up some pics of the plant now. Depending on what the plant is like now, I may not give the same advice as before.
