Coco Advice- Auto flowers

Hey guys, I was after some advice on coco and auto flowers. I just had a bunch of my auto seeds arrive and i am wanting to try the next lot in coco. Is is possible to use canna coco just in a pot and not through a hyrdo system and use the coco specific nutes in a bottle of water? Or do you pretty much need a hydro set up? thanks in advance.

Coco in a pot is just fine, hand water with coco specific nutes at around a PH 5.8

10-20% run off from the pot..........

Sorry to sound stupid but whats the 10-20% runoff relevant to? do you mean 10-20% of the total i water it with coming out the bottom of the pot?

Yes, having a slight runoff helps reduce nutrient salt build ups in your medium........

Oh let the fun begin! Love growing with coco and such a breeze if you follow a routine and stick with it. Use the online guide, print it out and stick it up next to where you mix yor teas for the girls.

I grow in pots and have no issues. At first i was cynical with the faster grows and 20% bigger yeilds claim but compared to when i grew with soil and other nutes i am getting faster harvest rates at around 7 weeks max with 70% cloudy  trichomes. I left one auto go for 9 weeks and she got so fat i ended up getting mould.

Cheers brother! I am keen to give it a go! What ph meter and adjuster would you recommend from ebay? Or will any do the job?

i have gone through a few and paid a shit load as well..ended up with a standard one like this one which i have had for almost a year now. The only hassle i have had is batteries casue it doesnt turn itself off so being stoned every time i am in the grow room i forgot to turn it off.

 

Just get some electrode storage and ph buffer and you should be good to go. Just pour the electrode storage in a small cup and leave the ph pen in there when not using it.

yeah i have buzzo, it's a great guide. I'm not sure if i missed it, but how often are you feeding them if it isn't hydro and just in a pot? is weekly fine? since they will become outdoor plants
