Is DWC doable in summer without a cooler?

Why wouldn't you use a cooler? They don't use much power. Using a larger cooler is more efficient and uses less elec. IMO forget the zymes, microbes and zones. The plants synthesise all the antimicrobials they need, all you have to do is provide the right environment so not to put the plant under stress. The best results I've ever had was dwc at 17degreesC, just A & B nutes no additives, rarely needed to adjust pH and plenty of bubbles and water movement around the roots. High temps favour pathogens, as does still water devoid of dissolved oxygen

Had the same issue with slime and algae with the exact same nute mix. Kept adding h202 thinking it should kill it.

Turns out I should have read the zyme bottle as well as soon as I flushed , lightly hosed slime of roots and ran without the h202 no more problems.

After that only flushed when

changing to flower nutes

When adding pk

After 1 week of pk

Final flush before harvest

I had no other issues with slime algae or any other build up.
