The biggest critters we have hanging around here are my 2 dogs/best mates. They are great dane cross english mastiff but not as big as your critters. My first thought was some kind of stork but we dont have many of them downunder when i myself tried to id it on net. Im colour blind myself but did notice its striking eyes before i went for camera so id say its not the flash doing it. it was early morning so il check out the nankeen n herron and little bittern some more. thx for heads up and reply Lou..........
