Slowly but surely we are getting there.

 

But yeah that's what the biggest problem now is these old geezers in parliament who are still (like the story said) living in the 50's with no idea about current agenda.

Government knows exactly what it is doing by keeping MJ illegal and demonising it via government websites and drug 'programs'. They are maintaining it as a justification for wasting tax dollars on LE and government departments, as well as an excuse for maintaining their surveillance on the population. If they legalise it, they will have to find some other way of justifying their wastage of our taxes. 

 

One thing I've become aware of regarding government is just how fictional most of what they do is. They don't actually care about what is right or good for the community. They only care about giving the impression of effort and achievement. It's all a scam to maintain the well paid jobs of hopeless middle managers and literally mindless bureaucrats.
