Six face hundreds of drug charges

Recommended Posts

After seeing the damage speed/ice/amphetamines inflicts on users & those around them I just can't have any sympathy for speed dealers who get busted. Fuck 'em.

Just a tip for those tempted to try amphetamines or would be dealers who don't know better. Speed kills. Speed fucks peoples lives.

One old mate was as big a pothead as you'd meet, smoked pot for years before he started taking speed. Long story short, he ended up in the loony bin. He can no longer smoke pot because just one billy sends him straight back to the psych ward. That was plain old speed. Ice is even worse at least tenfold.

I know personally, a few people who've lost everything including their physical & mental health due entirely to speed. One dealer loved his product so much that he eventually lost the plot. His missus who didn't use, walked through her front door to find her entire house saturated with water & hubby spraying everything [cupboards, drawers, beds, nothing was spared] down with the garden hose. When he saw the look of horror on her face he said "It's all right love, I'm on top of them." 'Them' meaning imaginary god-knows-what that had 'invaded' his home. She packed a bag & left never to return. I had only met this guy once before his downfall & a couple of times after rehab. This guy turned into an old man in the intervening 3 or 4 years. I didn't bother asking him if it was all worth it, his pathetic old man demeanour spoke for itself.

Another valid reason why it's in the communities interest to allow smokers to grow/share their own. Majority of pot users aren't interested in other drugs. Illegality exposes pot users to harder drugs. Putting marijuana in the same box as hard drugs gives the wrong idea to those who don't know better.

When my father found an oz of bud [i was 15] he tried to ring the drug squad because I wouldn't tell him who supplied it. There was a struggle over the phone until the phone broke. It was such an over-the-top violent reaction to something I KNEW was safer than alcohol [Alcohol poisoning from cheap tequila at 14 kept me away from grog for several years. Pot didn't make me sick] Interestingly, I only smoked pot & only intended to use pot.  I was very anti hard drugs. As a result of my fathers violent ignorance, I started to think that "I know pot is safe so maybe acid is also safe?" I dropped my first LSD trip the next w'end.

If my parents had taken the advice from the counselor from the 'Drug hot-line' [or whatever it was called] who told them "don't over-react" because it's "just pot", "it's not that bad,it could be much worse",  "talk to the boy about moderation" & other sound advice, then I know that I wouldn't have experimented with other drugs. It would've saved me much time, money & pain [The only time I ever took pills, apart from moggies twice, I ended up spewing & dry retching for 8 hours in the gutter, I was so sick I thought I was dying. Even promised God I'd only drop acid & smoke pot if he let me live.( Yep, I'm going to Hell :)  ) It was my fault, took twice as many as advised.]

The point is, if I'd been buying pot from growers I wouldn't have even been exposed to other drugs in the 1st place, regardless of my fathers ignorant reaction.

A constant source of frustration is the perception amongst the uninformed that mj is no different to other illicit drugs. How many Dr's have I had to explain over the years that a pot smoker does not an addict make? Ffs. There are drug addicts & there are pot smokers, two different species. I found out years later that my own parents had been telling anyone with ears that I was a druggie. "Hows hashwizard?" they'd ask. "He's into drugs now." Lovely, just fucking brilliant. It's the christian way. Apart from experimenting occasionally, I only dropped trips & smoked mj.

Most mj users I know these days also hold very negative attitudes towards speed/ice/meth. Ice has hardened these views.

I have never narked on anyone in my life. Not even when flogged by 21 Division for 2 1/2 hours while tripping. I was 17. [balmain boys are taught from day one of school that it's better to cop 'six of the best' than to be a 'give-up dog'. I was only 5 & hoped that didn't mean not wanting to be a Rottweiler because that'd be cool.]  Not talking in the Headmasters office also applied to the pig sty, naturally.

But gee, is narking a speed/meth ice dealer against the rules? I wouldn't think twice about narking a kiddy fiddler [after my mates & I had finished with it] or a rapist or a murderer. Lucky I don't know any speed dealers.

What's the consensus here amongst my fellow mj users towards meth/ice/speed? What would you do if a meth dealer moved in next door? Is narking him a dog act or doing a community service?

Well, I don't personally believe in narking anybody, but i wouldn't want to live next to a dealer of anything as it might attract a criminal element. Even weed tends to attract criminality since it is illegal and so there is money to be made from it.

I did have a great time with LSD when i was at uni, but I do think that it can be dangerous due to its power to distort a person's perception of reality.

Speed bores the crap out of me. I have no idea why it's so popular. Each to their own, I guess.
