The closing paragraph of the article states:

 

"Cannabis use for medicinal purposes has been authorised in a growing number of Western countries, including Holland, Spain, Germany, Italy, Britain, Canada, Australia, several US states, and most recently the Czech Republic."

 

 I have read of Australian Businesses that have obtained research permits to grow HEMP, given the strain/variety trialed held less than 5% THC content in the mature leaf/flower material, or the approved importation of seed for the breeding of a strain/variety of Hemp for cultivation in a particular regional would end in up with a less than 5% THC content in the finished leaf/flower material.

 

Is anyone aware of the likelihood that Cannabis use for medicinal purposes actually having been authorised by our previous or now Gov here in Australia?.
