Bitcoin has definetly got my attention I feel like going out there and investing a fair amount of money on some good gpu and rack server hardware to set up my own bitcoin mining rig. But, shit why stop there get on for litecoin and maybe one more for good luck, It's pretty sad though that now every asshole on the internet is goin to want to get there piece of the pie. I'm already waiting for all the malware and spyware that's going to sucker the vast swath of america.

Either, way I'm in on it who's with me lets pool our computer's into one massive botnet of  mining minions. Whos with me?

Gee I remember when bitcoin was at $2.35 the first time i bought coins. I bought $100 worth and held on to them up until the first spike, which now seems so microscopic. In late 2011 it jumped to around $16 a btc when i went to buy more. I kept using BTC for stuff and watched it go up and up in short bursts and then down again. By the time the massive jump occurred in late march i used all mine up and well i didnt want to invest a few grand on crypto currency.

 

I stopped paying attention in april after the massive crash and thought it was all over for btc.

 

Then last week i notice it was over an 1k or more...and i kicked myself. Even holding onto 2 or more back in sept 2011 would have been handy fiscally for me atm. Then again financial markets was never my thing.

 

Seems the Chinese have got their heads around cyrpto currency and thats where the massive spike has come from.

The Chinese Government have stopped the Chinese banks from trading the currency.

 

I read a while back that an English IT guy had thrown an old lap top hard drive down the tip, then he remembered he had 87,000 pounds worth of bit coins on it which like you he bought at the start of the run. Never got it back.
