Removing fan leaves

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the links katt I'm looking forward to reading them

Peace

Your very welcome. ^_^

Hey haze I had been spraying pyretheum on her for the last 4 weeks, those suckers were hard to kill off for good.

I sprayed her again after I removed the fan leaves and since I haven't seen one infested leaf.

Touch wood they are no more.

Peace

Have you tried neem oil? You can get it as a product called Mite Rid, I'm thinking only stocked by hydro stores. And there's a product at Bunnings (Masters too) called Eco-Neem. Not cheap but not too exxy.

It has a two week with holding period tho. So don't use it within two weeks of harvest.

Yes, it's natural, no nasty chemicals, but I can't imagine it would do you any good to be smoking it.

All the best with the bugs.

:freak:

Katt.

Nice man!

I am in the camp of semi defoliation and as kat i normally do my pruning around week 5 or 6. I tried it on 2 different strains and left the other 2 of similar strains untouched. I noticed the auto after having pruned her about 60-40 that the buds in week 7 started to fatten up a lot, whereas the other pheno the buds were a little less ligh in weight than the unpruned version. So maybe strain has a lot to do with it?

But then there's flushing..aren't the buds sucking energy from what ever was stored the fan leafs as one final run?

Theres a lot of for and against on this topic and lot of passionate debates on both sides, but i guess its up to you to find out what works best with what ever strain you have.

BTW boring advice but works well all the time, ignore the troll.
