Nerds muscle in on bikies' turf

Recommended Posts

Do not purchase from silk road alternatives. There is a huge chance that these replacements are simply honeypots. Do not use TOR. The T0R network doesnt correctly distribute data and is now being controlled by the feds in the u.s. I have ties to the 'cyb3r underw0rld' and assure you this information is legitimate. Peas.

I have successfully bought from Sheep Marketplace, and would recommend it, particularly the vendor 'RefreshYourself' (who is an Aussie). I used to buy on the old Silk Road. Can't vouch for the new SR, though.

I think that the important thing for new buyers is to get the right URL for the .onion site, as I did hear of SR being spoofed a year or so ago, but that was just money scammers (or so it was reported).

Either way, I think that TOR is secure enough for buying an OZ of weed here and there... If you were shipping in a few kilos of heroin, then you might worry about the security issues, but I don't see why the cops would care about a small bag of weed. Here in my state it a small fine and no criminal conviction for a bag of grass. They're not going to waste time and resources tracking down someone over that.

TOR isn't 100% secure but then again nothing is online.  It was even rumored years ago that the NSA had the ability to crack 256bit SSL on the fly and echelon recording every electronic based form of communication nothing was secure.  The NSA is also building data farms to permanently store all encrypted communications until they can be broken and inspected.  If you know some of the basics involved with encryption that may seem absurd but they wouldn't build it unless they had the ability to use it.

If you think you can control everything on your computer and be safe think again.  Studies have been done into computer chips made overseas to see if back doors were intentionally left in them and the results have always been suppressed on national security grounds.  Thats just a fancy way of saying they found something so its safe to assume that no matter the precautions you take online you can and will be monitored at best and have your machine completely owned at worst.

I'd put my tin foil hat back on but its not paranoia if they're really after you...

Err, ive had connections to groups in the hacker scene since the mid 90s. What the fuck are you laughing at ? Pull your dreads out of your ass ... Clouding your judgement....

I was laughing because i don't share your delusions of self grandeur.

I don't have dreads and have never sported dreads in the past.

Naycha :peace:
