bloody wildlife eating my plants

Something is eating my plants. They're about hip height, but something has decided to tip them, more than once. I've tried dog shit and I always wee on it when I check them. A fence is impractical in this situation, even chicken wire. I've heard of old engine oil etc. any ideas!? Thanks.

The last grow that I had outside, nothing but trouble with stoner wildlife.

Moved inside altogether due to animals getting stoned instead of me.

 

I later found out that a possum was living in a tree that I also used as a corner post to fence animals......out.

The bastard/s would come down every night inside the fence, using the  tree,  walk a plant down to his level and eat all of the growing tips from the plant and rotate his feedings night by night.

I would go to check them and some would be bent over while others were starting to stand back up.

I don’t know if they work or not, never had the chance to try them.....

Haha cheers man, I've given up smoking for a bit and my brain has cleared a little, I remembered that product from the hardware store that you dissolve in boiling water and spread around. Might grab some tonight! I'm not mad at the animals, it's kinda cute haha.

If you have access to nasty/prickly plants, like Lantana or Wait-a-while, cut suitable branches and make a barrier. Looks natural from a distance. It works with Roos and Deer, not sure about possums.

You can't leave the top unprotected or it will be eaten off. Much like unsafe sex.

i pee on mine as well but have heard kangaroos, wallabies when checking my plants the buggers but none eaten bend the tops of the chicken wire over otherwise they stick there head right in and top your plants
