Deficiency or Abnormality?

Recommended Posts

Question Razzles.

Is the whole plant like that? It does look like variegation rather than some kind of deficiency or disease.

I would LOVE to find a variegated Canna plant!

No Katt it's just on the big fan leaves on the 2nd(I think) nodes from the top. I think it is variegated because it has no other symptoms I've read about the virus..

I was wondering if it might have something relating to chlorophyl cuz it's a red poison plant?

I can't give her to you, but you can have some photos :P

Looks like it might of been the virus after all..

I went away for a couple of days and came back to some sad looking leaves and a shitload of fruit flys

I cut the bad leaves off and dosed the cabinet with neem. I had a lots more photos but my hand was shaking like

Michael J Fox and most of them came out blurry :P

Neem is a recommended treatment for fungus gnats, applied to the medium as a drench 3 times (or more) 2 or 3 days apart each time.

also check underneath our leaves as the 3rd leaf pic looks similar to spidemite damage which presents as little white spots from where the have been sucking from the underside of the leaf.

Good luck.

Thanks mate, I know all about spider mites  :wallbash: I checked for them aswell but I couldn't see any.

It's hard to tell from that 3rd pic but those white spots are actually holes, it looks like acid has eaten through it
