Best grow temps

Recommended Posts

Heya MJ , Those temps are a lil low in veg, by about 3-4 degrees overall, but the plants should do fine. Sorry to hear about ya dud LED's, we all gotta learn somehow.

Humidty anywhere from 30-80% is usually fine. Can go hotter in the grow room, but roots must be kept cool.

Thinking of it, if you took out ya panel, chucked a 400wer  HPS in there ya temps will come up. Cost ya about 200-300 bucks depending on shade and globe used in it.

Peace. Nibbler.

Probably looking at an extra 200 bucks a bill to run the 600wer and fans etc. If ya can get away with it, would be ya best option. If not a cupboard with a 400w and a cooltube be best bet, bill will go up about 120-140 a bill. Or 3 x Philips 80w CFL's in same cupboard is only 240w, and they can flower plants.

No wukkas, i have seen single Philips 80wers work well here, results were a bit fluffy, but was lack of light intensity to penetrate , 3 would kick arse in a 1.2m x 0.5m cupboard space, and at inspection time, nilodor in bottom of cupboard, turn off fans..... come thru, leave, turn back on....... easy.

I have found that if you can stay within these ranges, you should do very well.

Temperature:
21 - 29 degrees C

humidity:

60 - 70% for vegetative growth.

40 - 60% during flowering (lower humidity helps to reduce the risk of fungus in your buds).

80 - 90% for rooting clones and cuttings (high humidity helps cuttings draw up moisture).

What is a good way to increase humidity? when my fans go, it takes all the humidity away...

I need them on too because its getting up 32-34 during the middle of the day (yes lights are on during the night)

My humidity is 20% min / 35% max each day.

Fans are 125mm fresh cool air in the tent and 150mm out through cooltube.

I do put a dish of water under the light.
