Recommended Posts

Hi everyone i'm a first time grower. Looking for a guestamate on yield??..I have attached a couple of pics for your viewing pleasure..she is sexually mature with heaps of white pre flowers on her..her measurements are 3 ft high by 2 ft wide..germination was at the start of August..strain is unknown as was given bag of seeds..she recieves about 7 hours of direct sunlight at the moment..I use blood and bone fert every month..I have been reading heaps of threads and see yield questions asked a lot I'm just trying to make sure that I'm doing everything I can for her to attain maximum results Idealy I am wanting a yield of 1 pound plus per plant (in a perfect world).

Any help, comments to improve my chances is greatly appreciated.

Peace

Welcome aboard.

It is like asking how long is a bit of string on how much your plant will yeild.

Your plant will start to reveg and only get bigger if you are gowing it out side as the days are getting longer and is the time to start your out doors plants.

If you can controll how much sun it gets each day you can keep it flowering till it is ready to harvest...

cheers ozzy..I am happy keeping her in vegative state for atleast another couple of months..sun light will not be an issue as my backyard is a sun trap from 8am till 3 pm..I understand it is a very open ended question..was more hoping to here that there'd be no reason why I couldn't get a pound plus per plant come harvest time.

peace

If she is in a plastic pot you can push the sides in slightly between the palms of your hands and roll the pot around between them. Do this all the way around the pot.

Place your hand/hands with a couple of fingers on each side of the stem, palm down to support the weight of the medium. Flip her upside down and she should come out of the pot with a little coaxing. The roots and medium should come out almost, if not complete in the shape of the pot.

If she is too big, stand on a chair or similar to turn her over or get some help.

Transfer to larger pot or ground, top up the medium. Water her in.

There is still a lot of veg time left in the season so you could top her to keep her low and really bushy.

You could tie her down, (LST) as well or both

Thanks train wreck the transfer process sounds easy enough..nice detail!..I have a pot double the size..with a bit of care and patience I'll manage it.

I have read alot about LST still unsure if it is for me..Im not sure if her stem would bend that far down either..i'm going to do some more reading up on LST tonight.

By top her you mean cut her down?

Peace

Just cut the bottom out of the pot and bury the pot and plant together. Saves on plant stress and you can bury the pot to the depth you want. It may be to late to cut it (something I would never do). Look up super cropping in cannaversity. Or search for the thread on super cropping.
