Help With Nutrients

hey can anyone help. is it true that u slowly build up nutrients levels over a period of time. and any idea on a appox graduation process.

When starting from seed or clone you start off with weaker nutrients (1/4 - 1/3 strength) but if you are dealing with established plants then you would use full strength from the start.

well I disagree /when ever Introducing a nutrient of any type

all ways start off 1/4 as directed . Now this go's for everything

seedlings ( not advised) Veg, or flowering . the worst thing you can do is lock up the intake of the root system with unused salts ..

 

Now this is how I use my nutrients ... the first feeding of nutrients (3 weeks from seed )

at 1/4

Next is At 5 weeks =1/4 = NPK=12-6-6

Next is At changeover for me = 1/2 NPK = 12-6-6

Next is every 2 weeks at 1/2 -3/4 NPK = 5-10-5

with added 0-7-0 budswel @ 1/2 ^

 

if you use this method you will find that your plants health will

show 10 fold ... trust me I own happy plants ....

Hey bro,

 

I suppose you mean when you start the flore stage of the plant.

 

Your EC level should never go over 2.4 for non CO2 systems and 3.0 for CO2 systems.

 

If you use a three part nutrient like General Hydroponics, you have the greatest control over your plants.

 

part 1 - grow

part 2 - bloom

part 3 - micro

 

 

By varying how much of each part of the GH nutrient you use, you can totally control what that plant recieves for every different week of flore.
