5 million dollar "dob in a bikie" rewards as the government cr

Recommended Posts

I am a member of a car club...... And therefore classed as a hoon.

Bikies seem to be classed as criminals.

I assume, like my car club, that is the minority that ruin it for everyone..... Newman seems to forget that there are probably a lot of "bikies" and "hoons" that are law abiding, family people.

If this campaign can weed out the undesirable element, I am all for it. Its only $5m... The government wastes that and more every day..

^ I think with police operations the money can actually be recouped in court fines, etc.

Well at least the bikies are taking the heat off the mafia, triads and all the other long term criminal families. I think the governments think they are in the movies. AAANNNDDDDDDD ACTION to the sound of a clapper board. Tarantino is the director.

Qld has been fucked ever since Bjelki Peterson (spelling) they have the syndrome. Instead of the boss putting his fat head on the news telling the public what they are going to do, they should be doing it without all the fan fare. As Hawkeye said once. "Take another star out of petty cash"

^ I agree.

In the eighties the italian mafia ran the southeast into the ground. The Queensland high commisioner of police, himself, was corrupt, accepting bribes from the mob.

Fortitude valley had massage parlours where drugs and sex were available without any police interferance.

Organised crime has evolved considerably since then, now it's all about the bikies.

I've never seen so many police in the city as last weekend, their presence was really felt.

Expanding already, now they are saying the reward money will also go towards dobbing in drug labs

Police cars have been all over the Gold Coast this week, I have never seen anywhere this amount of them.

They have nothing to do, I have seen them questioning people at bus stops and also pulling over tourists on mopeds as if they are bikies.

If they continue to carry on like this then yes the Police State of Queensland is back.

$500 000 to dob on the Finks, Bandido's, etc etc and shut them down...   that is so stupidly funny in so many different ways.

The last thing Can-do Campbel needs is the bikers/bikies full attention, but he's going to get it soon :) they will waste more than 5 million on barristers, QC's etc and make sure they tie this up in court for years if he pisses enough of them off... For all the threats the government issues, all these stunts prove is that they have very little in the way of 'real evidence' to do anything substantial.

By the way NSW leads Australia now as far as police states go, they rested the crown off Qld when Morris Yiema took control and haven't looked back since... Campbell is trying but we haven't gotten back to Joh's era, not by a long, long, long stretch of the imagination.

IMO the police are no different than any other criminal organisation, in fact they are the biggest and what dose a organised crime gang do when there business is being targeted or there turf being occupied by unwanted people. Also I look at the police giving rewards for information that leads to an arrest dose this mean they have failed and need our help. Police no what bikies are capable off are they willing to pay for witness protection, they are asking us to risk our normal lives to make them look good.

What ever happened to when they tell you not to get involved, because more damage can be done to you or someone else, the saying goes don't try to be a hero, it could end bad, but then they reward you even if you do it lol

Haze

Also ask around most people have no problem with true bikies

imo the police are no different than any other criminal organisation. this is how I see it to when they all get together they act like a pack of rats. my brother in law got jumped by 10 plus police officer at the police station for telling a lady at the counter she wasn't doin her job wich she wasn't  she was not helping him at all . he came to my house after with hand cuff marks and marks all over him.

I see some are all for the current crackdown on the bikies, weeding out the undesirable element. I grow cannabis, I smoke cannabis, I medicate with cannabis, but in the eyes of the law, I too am an undesirable element. I live in Melbourne, recently, a bit of bikie business and a few shots fired. Supposedly, one of the weapons was an AK. My opinion is that this may be the true, undesirable element police want off the streets, as it is a very undesirable element to be wandering around society.

Australia is full of undesirable elements, just like you and I, it's just some are a little more undesirable than others.

A couple of bikies made the coppers and the pollies look like idiots, so now they need to make a lot of noise to try and look good again.  It's all politics and bullshit designed to make the powers that be look good without actually having to do or acheive anything of substance.

I'm all for dealing with threats to the public and society, but properly instead of with cheap stunts like this, problem is modern day pollies and police (and the coppers in charge are effectively political) don't have the endurance or the balls to do that, but prefer to show how committed they are by going after soft targets to make good statistics they can dribble on about in front of the media.  eg speed cameras and drug dogs at  music festivals etc

5 million, wonder how that compares to the bribes circulating around from the meth industry in QLD?

I think its an assault on peoples basic rights. It means any group of 3 people or more, can be stopped questioned and detained on grounds of "maybe" being a criminal orginization.

That means ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. It's bullshit.

When they say 3 is a crowd.... these days they really mean it..... lol

Bikies are just more visual than other gangs, with patches, bikes, clubhouses etc. An easy target. The big boys are laughin, takes the heat off them...... lol

If the cops push too hard, there gonna be a point they gonna get shoved back....and to be honest they dont have the man power for that.

One thing I admire about the Bikies is they are standing up for a way of life and Freedom that should not be denied to anyone,  if you so choose it.

Like when the rebels rode across to WA, cops in Kalgoorlie told em to stay outta the pubs..... Why? Is that a law too a member of the public cant enjoy a cold bevvy??

They didnt stay outta the pubs, the pubs made a shitload of money........... and for all the cops tough posturing and harrassment, they couldn't do shit.

Even the publician said he was happy to have them there.

I think the 'police are a gang' statements are spot on. Last I checked police were here to serve the people........ seems to be sometimes WE the people, are the enemy.

Peace. Nibbler.
