5 million dollar "dob in a bikie" rewards as the government cr

Recommended Posts

I've been reading the paper for the last week or so. With recurrent news coverage of the bikie war.

In light of these new laws being proposed, I reckon that's the closest thing to any motorcycle display that we will see for a long time, particularily in South East Queensland.

Anti association laws, 25 year minimum jail sentences for drug possesion and custom built jails are a few of the numerous legal proposals being drafted by the Cambell Newman administraion.

This is likely to force the bikies underground and initally to other parts of Australia as they hand in their colours and close their clubhouses.

Will other parts of Australia follow in coercian with these new laws?

These new laws are nothing short of intense and reminiscent of the "old days' in Queensland.

What is happening in Qld is yet to happen in Vic, but they did roadblock a major highway last week during a bike run.

Makes no sense shutting down clubs, tearing down buildings and taking away patches wont stop crime from occurring. What next, put a ban on Harley's?

How about a "dob in a corrupt politician" campaign? Bikers skim a few million, but when politicians are corrupt, they divert hundreds of millions/billions into private pockets. Who could say no to that?

How about a "dob in a corrupt cop" campaign, with harsh sentences for police officers? A corrupt cop damages society way worse than a regular criminal, and besides, they're all angels - so where's the harm in that?

When one of the italian american mafia bosses went to wall street and saw what was going on there, he said possibly the most poignant thing ever: "I joined the wrong mob".

Says it all.

crimes by 'Bike gangs' make up less than 1% of all crime (0.6%)

When the Feds in the States took down the Mafia in NY, many mafia members dobbed-in their fellow members because of the pressure that the feds put on the family members, and no doubt $$.

The bosses got paranoid and started making mistakes, they are now doing life (or similar).

In the public's eyes the Mafia appears to be disbanded and the feds are patting themselves on their backs.

In truth the all the feds have done is run the Mafia underground;

the Mafia tightened their security and are laying low, but they are not gone, they will never be 'gone'.

so may parallels…

lets run them underground, yea, that'll work…morons
