Growing Indoor In Village

hello all,

i've been lookinf for info about growing weed indoors. not that much at all, huh?? i thought it was complicated. Anyway, my problem is that where i live the electricity gives out and blacks out for god knows how long. it's remote part of indonesia. I heard that sudden blackouts to the MJ plant while hurt em. i was thinking of something that would keep the power on (just to the grow room) if the power blow down a good 12 hours. like a generator or charger of some kind?? i don't want to use those diesel things that sound too large. might wake up the villagers.

anyone know if a way or a device that might work?

You can get some pretty quiet petrol models now, you can also get the fitted so that they will start up when the power goes of and shut down when it comes back on.

i'm only planning on growing 2 pot plants, using 2x 68 watt flouros (one warm red and one white cool one, perlite/vermiculite 50/50, 100mm fan for exhaust. blood and bone (1:10 soil mix)

 

i got some seeds from a stash so i don't know if they'll grow or not. some are white colour and other are more browner. i got about 20 seeds and will any of em sprout?? i going to put the seeds in a 1/4 full cup(500ml....too small/big??) in damp soil mix and putting a cling rap over the top of the cup (put under a desk lamp). water if water evaporation are gone (how much water..ml??)

what for em to reach 4"-6" and tranplant to bigger pot (how big?) how much light for how long for vegging and how much and long for flowering??

 

when do i feed em with the blood and bone and watering? i'm going to use small peebles in the bottom of the pots for easy drainage.

 

oh yeah, is the petrol generator big?? how much is it? like i said before...i'm only using a total of 128 watts of flouros and something small would be nice (not a generators they have for shops, right?

 

concerning lights...do i have to get something so that when i turn the light off they'll turn off gradually or it doesn't matter??

 

what else should i get?? i forget anything i shoudn't??

I don't know a lot about your temperature and humidity ranges, you will need to keep an eye on both.

Only one way to find out. I just stick mine in some potting mix, keep it slightly damp and see what happens but others will tell you their methods of sprouting seeds too.

For hydro I wouldn't use less than a 12"/300mm pot, for soil use something a bit larger.

18/6 or 24/0 (light/dark hours) for veg and 12/12 for flower.

If you are growing in a perlite/vermiculite media then you should be using hydro nutrients, you can buy them over the net, blood and bone is for soil grown plants.

You would need to check out some websites or talk to a retailer there, a small one would do to run the CF's and ventilation.

No, it would stuff the CF's anyway, most growers just use a plug-in timer to turn the lights on and off, I would strongly recommend that you get one for the flowering cycle.
