i wanna use Jungle Juice on the Coco Coir, as an introduction to hydro.

 

What else could I use with coco? Worm and compost tea?

My comment was towards you expressing you wanted to use the Lucas formula, the last time I saw that it was some kind of mix of the general hydro base nutes. I guess it may have changed

Oh yeah .

 

Well its basically using 2 of the 3 part formula mixes, meaning that you save money and only have to buy the 2 bottles. For growing in coco, you need to add epsom salts due to the nature of coco, but otherwise it looks great, simple and seen people have great success.

 

What would you recommend, Im still new to the whole hydro thing, and it seems most nutrients are 2 or 3 part, with different mixtures for seedling, growth and flowering.

I would recommend coco specific base nutes still, will be able to find a \ b coco specific nutes from companies like canna and h&g, no point cheaping out here, and trust me trying to work out a problem using that formula will be much harder as well

OK so the Canna A&B coco is good? Do we need to use anything else, as some say you need to add other stuff during flowering or is it all good?

Most people will run with a pk booster such as pk13/14 from canna for late in the flowering period, otherwise a+b is really all you need to grow a plant

So its been a few days I've been watering less, but the leaves are still going yellower.

 

The other plant, in the same soil mix is fine, but both are slow, they are about two weeks old now from when the shoot appeared. However the plant in the black pot is not yellow, and actually took a lot lopnger to sprout and was initially smaller.

 

Could the roots be locked? I would think not since the plant is so small, but i can see the pot (plastic coke bottle) has roots,and you can see them in the picture.

 

Any ideas guys?

 

Its an Afghan strain bought from MJ seeds
