I did a little excavation with some little outside ones earlier this year-mainly for the reasons of stealth as well as mobility if things got a little hot/stormy/sketchy.  i like the concept of being able to remove or shift the plant while still having the option of keeping it alive with minimal disturbance to the rhizo-sphere (?).  When the kids are older (my cover trees too lol ) I would think of just whacking them in the ground-that's my dream :give_rose:

Peace all and jus wanna say thanks to all the members for a great site! v :sun:

You could get some largish crushed rock, like the aggregrate they use when repairing roads and throw a decent load of it in the hole first. That would help with drainage. Then if you are worried about height, tie the plants branches down. Look up LST in cannaversity. Low Stress Training. Or Supercropping.
