I Think My 22cm Plant Is Flowering

Recommended Posts

I think my 22cm plant is flowering. Im not sure, unfortunately I am unable to post a picture, but will as soon as possible. I think there are preflowers inbetween the nodes, leaves are devleloping there and the plant is starting to smell like bud. Also the plant is looking a little ragged. The leaves are slightly curled under, some more so, no problems with insects. If anyone can gather anything from what i've said here, id appreciate some advice. If it helps my plants are in Perlite/Vermiculite/potting soil. I use 2 x Power-glo 20W fluorescent and 2 x 18W cool whites. I dont have a venilation fan. But i do have a large desk fan that I blow in there for about half an hour a couple of times a day.

Hopefully there is a picture on the way soon.

You need ventilation. Absolute necessity. Even with fluoro.

How long are the lights on and off for? It's possible that it's just showing preflowers, but it's also quite possible it's responding to the environment by maturing and flowering.

Give us some details about how old the plant is, how it was started, (i.e. clone or seed), what the pH of the soil is, what nutes you're using, and yeah, a pic'd help too.

Not trying to make life hard, just letting you know that all these things will help to diagnose your problem.

Anyway, good luck, I'll look forward to the pic. Oh, and get a vent fan! :D
