So I have a budget of $2000. For a 1000W light setup. Im not going with clones I am going with feminised seeds. Mostly SUPER auto flowers and Sensi's Super skunk. Id like ten plants going at once and I like to hand water measuring PH and EC with canna a + b.

Can someone recommend tent size? what kinda of ballast?. Im going with two weeks VEG then straight to flower. 10 plants at a time. Im Aiming for a 2 pound harvest to last me the whole year. Ive changed my mind on growing outdoors because my neighbours are way too snoopy.bes

I need a good tent, good ballast , powerful 1000w light and a carbon filter.

10 plants at a time. with only 2 weeks veg. Lets see what can be recommend :)

Thanks guys!

forget the 1000wer, go 2 x 600wers (magnetic ballasts be fine- use decent globes), more spread, and go a tent about 2.4 x 1.2m......... 150-200mm centri fan, 250mm x 500mm carbon filter, 2 large cooltubes, ducting, 150mm inline fan for cooltubes, 5plants every 1.2 x 1.2m.......

Have fun . Nibbler.

if i had 2 grand to spend on a setup i wouldnt be buying cheap shit.

-get a nice tent, spend a few hundred at least, these gorilla tents look awesome.

-get yourself solistek matrix digital ballasts, lamps, remote control units.

-get a good carbon filter like mountain air or phat filter.

-get a really nice qualuty centrifugal fan.

- you're better off with large air cooled shades with glass rather than cooltubes for a bigger footprint from each lamp.

Make sure you spend the whole $2000. and buy yourself a cheeseburger for the munchies.

sweet, going to go get a quote today.  Should the cooltubes have a shade reflector off them???

or what about those big box looking ones? My shop has them. They look cool, look like a big glass box kinda?
