Any glass shop/manufactuer should be able to drill glass for you. They use a dimond tipped drill bit, be sure to sponge water onto the glass while you drill it to prevent any cracking.

Good point , im sure you'll figure it out , but warm up the glass a bit

Its more likely to crack @ room Temp

 

i'd put boiled water into it , after warming the glass under warm then hot tap water

Does anyone have any info on makeing a vaporiser? im in the process of building one now and cant find much info on set ups how they work etc, so Im only working with my own loose theirys and facts, Ill post some pics and a diagram when its finished

Bunnings sell drill bits designed for drilling glass.

I recently brought one to drill the bottom out of a beer bottle to make Honey Oil butane style.

I drilled it slowly and used alot of water to keep it cool, it took awhile but it worked well.

 

Making a vape?? do you mean electric or glass type?

Im making the electric type, so far I've got all the bits except for the jar and lid, used a soldering iron with the end of stainless steel tea spoon screwed into the end of the heating element, for the bowl, still looking for something good for the jar bit

mines like the one above and is a really loose fit, its air tight because it has a rubber seal around it. push fit

hi all, just wanna give youse a tip on drilling glass. one good method on say, the side of a round bottle or whatever is to tape it up. aring of tape 1/4" thick`ll do it. drill into the tape and you got a well to fill with water. dont ask me why, but ppl used to use metho as a coolant. another way to get a well (good on flat areas) is to use a bit of blu-tack. make a little bund to hold the liquid in. hoppe this helps all those wanna drill glass. another thing...probably wont do it too often in your time, so get a couple of cheap bits from the warehouse or crazy clints, etc.

The agung vape uses a old cottee's strawberry jam jar moulded into a ceramic base.. It looks alright till you look closely... dodgy pricks cutting corners :: still charging 120$ for them..... Personally think you could use any type of jar, start searching for some spun shape and/or colour....just keep in mind that you will need to wipe the inside of the jar (depends on how much hash goes thru it) so easy access helps...

I've got an agung vape, but it's got a dome not a jar top, and you just push it down and away you go.........$120 bucks and the rest man!!! My smaller one was $135.00.......They go for around $140-$160+ in most places here in WA, I'm pretty sure joynt venture retail them at around $150.00. Unless the price has fallen recently.

Personally..........I think they suck, except for smoking oil or hash. But I wouldn't waste my weed in them

the ones with the screw on jar top are best IMO if you are going hotplate style. yeah stonedas they look a bit dodgy, but I had mine going on 3 years and never had a problem.

 

but aromazap ( www.aromazap.com ) is best one for weed that I've tried, difficult to smoke oil or hash in it though
