Cash-in-hand economy and illegal drugs trade costing Australia billion

The report included an estimate for the value of the "backyard production" which includes vegetable gardens, home-grown crops, livestock and the construction of owner-built structures.

 

The bureau valued this type of informal production was equivalent to 0.2 per cent of GDP, or about $3 billion a year.

 

Well let's getting those gardens going and see how much money we can 'rob' from the economy lol
