The report included an estimate for the value of the "backyard production" which includes vegetable gardens, home-grown crops, livestock and the construction of owner-built structures.

 

The bureau valued this type of informal production was equivalent to 0.2 per cent of GDP, or about $3 billion a year.

Yeah it's funny that the "black market" is more honest, open and transparent than the "official" one.
