The price of ganja has been steady for at least 20years. looks pretty tough out there as far as quality goes though.

Does anyone know what kind of prices the americans pay for there state sanctioned medical weed? Just wondering if legalization has changed their prices or not?

 

Cheap, on 420 day they have ounces for like $150, etc.

 

But if you have a medical license to use it you can also grow it, which would work out a lot cheaper then buying it, so long as you're able to produce good buds.

i wouldnt call the american prices cheap. i would say there are great deals and sales but in the circles i chat with on the net it seems price is directly related to quality. sure you can scre some cheap oz's but if you want the best expect to pay through the nose for it.

 

i really like that model though. it means if your putting the effort in and growing the lower yielding more potent strains you can be rewarded for it. over here what incentive do commercial growers have to grow dank. none. the dank is pretty much the same price as the schwag so they just grow whatever pulls the biggest yields.

We're talking about buying from dispensaries, i.e, small businesses that carry dozens of top quality commercial strains grown for medical usage. Chances are the quality is on par with the coffee shops of Holland.

Yeah im familiar with the concept. The dispensaries buy there weed from growers. If the grower supplies average weed he gets average prices. If the grower is supplying a grade he gets top dollar.

 

Not everything they sell is going to be super dank. Although the same can be said for coffee shops in holland.

 

Just flipping through some menus though and the bud does seem cheap about

$10 us will get you a gram of top shelf and for about $7.50 will get you the run of the mill bud.

 

The average american wage is a lot lower than ours though. Our average wage is 3 times more than the average there. So its all relative. Basically if you work for an hr to buy a gram here for 20 they work about an hr to come up with that $8 to buy a gram over there. When you look at it like that it makes sense.

 

Its like when you go shopping in the states. Everything seems really cheap because our dollar is so close in value but you forget they get paid so much less than us. What we consider cheap over there is actually expensive to most of them

Just chatting to a mate from cali. He is getting 2500 for an elbow selling to dispensaries. So it seems the dispensaries dont have as high a mark up as a street dealer here. Thats good. But there turn over would be rediculous I imagine.

1.8g = $25

1/4 oz = $50-$85

1/2 oz = $120-$150

oz = $200-$300

 

The outdoor is usually better then the indoor down here, but I've been getting oz for $220 of some really nice indoor, not sure what strain, but he's been growing the same strain for years, and after smoking it, I know why haha

 

Hopefully no more paying for overpriced herb after this season

What are you serious? man i was there for a bloody year and a 1/2 and couldn't find a stable dealer ... was in new norfolk ... damn would of asked every bogan looking person there for some, never got a decent hit, only got a little bit though a work mate who was super paranoid about it
