For medicinal purposes, this was mentioned in another thread, can't remember the name of the strain, I say good on em.  CBD has a lot of potential for medicinal purposes, as does THC.  Having strains with a higher than 1:1 ratio of CBD is a good thing from this perspective, just not good for getting stoned, should be great for relaxation though.  I personally would love to get my hands on some seeds and have a crack at it.  Would still grow the recreational strains as well though.  Won't make any difference to the legal side of things though, can't grow Hemp either and it's got as good as no THC in it.

Somebody recently posted about a strain called Charlotte's Web, 2% THC, 30% CBD,bred for the control of epilepsy. As THC can be a trigger for some sufferers of epilepsy, CBD, on the other hand, has proven beneficial in suppressing epileptic seizures.

So long as the reduced levels of THC are the result of breeding, and not Genetic modification, I am grateful to these people, as an epileptic, for creating such a strain. Just wish I could source the seed:-)

Hey was actually 1% THC and 20% cbd think I mentioned 18% CBD in last thread but after re watching the doco I seen it on safely say I'm now right. The strain was created through selective breeding no GM crap thank god.

If you have any spare time check the doco out should be on youtube WEED: Dr Sanjay Gupta Reports.
