New and Young - First Grow attempt OUTDOORS - Advice please!

Recommended Posts

Yea but u want to germinate it first, crack the egg so to say

Method 1

Small plastic Tupperware container layered with absorbent paper towel kept moist whole time try not to let it dry out place seed between the layers of moist paper towel. Pretty sure but don't quote me when germinating a seed won't crack when under 18 degrees so place in warm environment. Can take between 1-14 days to crack depending on the seed.

Method 2

Fill glass cup half full of water drop seed in to cup sit back and wait.

if ya germinate and get to seedling stage at home, even under a cfl until they are a few inches tall it will be alot less work and will increase the chances of survival because you will be controlling the environment. some ppl put them in little plastic cups with a hole in the bottom for drainage, soon as there ready transplant in the ground and they should go nuts, especially if you bury a fish a few feet down. you can put the seed directly in the ground if you wish, but it takes longer to germinate and sprout.
