I dunno Dr, I think it's a novel plan to raise funds for a political party. Better than Chipps idea (re. drug law reform party) where he basically asks all members to beg money off their family and friends.

If they were going after medicinal cannabis it would be fine as that can be worked at all levels including internationally as the UN convention on narcotics allows medicinal access, but outright legalisation requires a whole lot more including potentially removing themselves from that convention effectively ending the war on drugs for that nation at the international level.  Thats not going to happen anytime soon so legalisation won't happen anytime soon.  The political climate just isn't ready for it yet :(
