Recommended Posts

Does anyone know a proper fox farms nutes schedule for growing cannabis? The one they give me is too strong and gives my plants nute burn. Please let me know if anybody uses fox farms nutrients on there plants. I would like a schedule for both veg and flowering stages.

Hey java,  so many variables with growing cannabis no two grows are the same, nor are any two growers the same,  so exercise caution when asking for/applying other peeps schedules and advice.

In answer to your question, firstly it depends on the company and the product but the "recommended dosage" is usually on the high side for a lot of mediums, esp when they nutes aren't medium specific so a good rule of thumb is start at half strength or even lower. The schedule no doubt instructs you to use as many if not all of the products in the range? Typical business strategy encouraging you to use a lot of the products and as quickly as possible so then you can rush out and buy more.

I've not used fox farm but have been looking at them recently as they are one of only 2 brands available to me locally.  I will prolly order some, maybe even the starter kit which has 8 bottles or something from the range. I too am interested to see/hear first hand exp regarding any of the range.

Peace

I have the starer kit and have been using full strength and grew some large healthy plants with a lot of nute burn. Sadly, they turned out to be males.  :crybaby: They are really good nutrients but I think when I start my next grow in a week I'm going to use half - 3/4 strength so I won't have to remove as many over-nuted leaves.  :gardening:
